Tatkal Confirm Ticket Cancellation Refund
Tatkal confirm ticket cancellation refund rules are quite different from those of the waiting tatkal one. The cancellation of tatkal tickets may not be a good option. This is because no refund is provided by IRCTC on the cancellation of the confirmed tatkal ticket. But you can get a refund if there is a fault committed by the authority. In case, the train is running late by 3 hours or more, then you can claim your refunds by filing a TDR request on the official site of IRCTC. Waiting tickets cancelled prior to 30 minutes of the scheduled departure of the train are entitled to refund. The tickets can be cancelled only through IRCTC site and the refund will be provided in the same account from which the payment was made.
